新目标英语七下Unit 1 Period 2教学设计
Teaching aims:

  1. Enable Ss to use the modal verb “can” in different sentences;learn to make a simple poster for different activities.
  2. Talk about school clubs and help Ss know each other better.
  3. Talk about students’ talents to develop their self-confidence and make them more active.

用圣诞歌曲营造英语氛围
利用信息沟进行猜测,引入can的疑问句。

2. Practice

Show pictures to let Ss talk about them.

Use “Can he/she…?”to talk about the pictures.

用学生喜爱的明星图片操练can的疑问句及其回答,既完成3a内容,又避免机械操练.

3. Presentation

Use pictures to introduce the story telling club/art club/soccer club

Look at the pictures and guess what clubs they are.

利用书本图片让学生猜文本内容,培养学生细心观察的良好习惯。

4. Listening

Play the recording for Ss to listen and check
Play the recording again and let Ss imitate.

Give a sample conversation about recruitment with one student. Then let Ss move around in the classroom to make their own conversations.
